So sad. And because of it, all New Year's eve events in Brunei will be cancelled. This sucks! I was so looking forward. And yes, I'm a bad person.

I wentt hiking at Shahbandar today with Ben, Michelle and my sister, Finah. Tiring, but it felt great! Photo above is the view from the peak of one of the hills.

Finally!! After completing 5 out of the 7 hills, we retreated back to the car. We were very hungry. Can you tell we were posing as proud people?

It was so much fun and a good work out, we're thinking of going again on Wednesday. Hooray!

Carousel went round and round

Last night was spent challenging our head and stomach. Me, the sisters and sister's friend Amoi went to the amusement park, Jerudong and it was fun. Image above is the Pusing Lagi roller coaster.

Cruising at 3am

Boredom stress has gotten to me and so I've been going out every chance I get. Lately, I've been cruising around town until 4am, trying to look for places that open late. So far, no luck. This is what it looks like here, really late.

The weather is against me. It's raining heavily again. This is so depressing. Wahhhhh! I actually had something planned for tonight but looks like I have to cancel it. Damnit!

In my life again

I went out with my old crush from 2 years ago, for lunch this afternoon. It was a very expensive lunch but definitely worth it. I sensed a lot of flirting coming from her and man, am I excited to be back in the game again.

People suck

Why? Why do I bother keeping in touch with these people and making the effort just to have them ignoring me and not care. Is it so hard to go out with me ocassionally or talk to me on the phone once in a while? And the stupid thing is, I never give up. That is how much of a good friend I am.

I understand, once we have gone our separate ways to pursue our studies and careers, we meet new people and make new friends but that does not justify their abandoning the older ones specifically, ME! Hey, I have met new people too in Brisbane and believe me, they are much open-minded and cooler than some of my so-called "friends" in Brunei but still, I make the effort to keep in touch. Hell, I even phoned them all the way to Brunei when i was in Australia. I invested a lot of time, thoughts and money into them and what do I get? Crap.

I was feeling really blue before and because of that, I started binging on chocolates. I just finished my second toblerone bar and was hoping someone would save me from potential diabetes so I called the closest people I know. Of all the people in my phonebook, none of them picked up their phones and some of them even rejected my fucking call. I know some of them have their reasons but the others are just too lazy and stupid to want to talk to me. Right now, I'm infuriated. This isn't the first time, I tell you.

And to think this time last month, I was really looking forward to coming back home to Brunei just to see them. At this point, I would very much be happy if I had stayed in Australia for the holidays, never see these people again, be successful and have them begging me to keep in touch with them. Instead, I am here sitting in my parents' bed, starting on my third chocolate bar, typing away on my sad little computer.

Hey people, I'm funny and give great gifts. It's your loss.

Before and after weightloss

I've posted this type of image millions of times on my livejournal but since it's private, I thought I'd post one here too. Look at the change, aren't I unbelievable.

The before picture was takne on my birthday this year, the 9th of April and the after picture was taken last Thursday, the 16th of December. I lost 24 kgs if you're wondering. That's about 55 lbs. Don't I look fantastic? *pukes* Lol.

Look what the stork brought us today!

5 little kittens! The mother cat in our house gave birth this morning, yay! There are two orange ones, one black one with a white mark on it's neck, a plain white one and lastly, my kitten, kind of creamy brown. We still can't figure out what colour it is yet but I'm hoping it turns out a siamese.

This is them, freshly out of the mother's sore vagina. Mine is the one under the mother's hindleg. I call her "Booboo". Lol.

Sucking on momma's nipples. Oh yea! The cool thing is, all the kittens have one feature in common. The all have stripey patterns on their thighs. Awww... look at the black one resting it's cute little limb on little Booboo.

That is right. Hari Raya for this year is officially over and above, you can see a picture of me with Niz and Zhu on my second day back in Brunei (I'm the one on the right). Sure, that time the Aidilfitri spirit had already died down but the food was still there. Delish!

Missing slutty cabaret dancers

Ohh, how much I miss watching these chicks dance to Christina's "Dirrty" song at the club. I'll only be able to do so in February because that's when I'll be going back to Brisbane. I reckon it's going to be a really long two months.

Kicking things off

Okay, I've decided to move back to blogspot because I found a great service called Flickr, where I can easily upload my photos directly to my blogger account. Easy, no? Yea, I think I'm going to make this site my photolog because I'm conceited and vain.

I have this habit see, where I have to introduce myself at the start of every journal so here goes.

The name is Farid, currently residing in Brisbane, Australia. I am originally from Brunei. I am 18 years of age and an undergraduate student at the University of Queensland studying business management. I enjoy partying, discussing controversial issues, looking good and fashion. I also love music and dancing. You think that's gay? Well, it's not. I am of a new breed, called the Metrosexuals. Lol.

You may know me as the owner of the once popular *pukes* crapism site. Well, in case you're wondering, that domain still exists but I decided to abandon it because I don't like it anymore, it expires in April 2005 and it has caused me a lot of drama.
